I got amazing value for my money at this hotel. The room was spotless and fresh, and the location was ideal. The staff at Shepherd Lodge treated me like family.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

Over Easter, I had an amazing stay in a guest house in Bryanston. The rooms were clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning and appreciated the two bottles of water provided daily. The peaceful garden was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee before starting my day. Plus, the location was convenient with easy access to nearby attractions.

While the guest house had many positive aspects, there were a few areas that could be improved. The guest house was slightly outdated and could use a revamp in some areas.

The staff was very friendly, making for a very welcoming stay. The facilities were spacious and comfortable, especially the pool area which made for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was also great to have a backup power system, so we didn't have to worry about any load shedding.

The décor is slightly outdated which could be improved with some modern updates. the service wasn't always prompt as we had to wait until the next day to receive an iron when it was requested.

The outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers were perfect for relaxing. The garden area and BBQ facilities made for a wonderful outdoor dining experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even providing special diet menus. The private facilities in the room were stunning and made us feel like royalty. In-room breakfast was the perfect start to a wonderful day. The location advantages were ideal for exploring the city.

The only minor issue we encountered was that some areas were slightly outdated and in need of a revamp. However, this did not affect our overall experience and the exceptional service more than made up for it.
